Get Well Card - Butterfly.

Here is another simple card I made. I love that pink ruffle ribbon I found a while back. I have so much ribbon oh my goodness! That's it for today. I got an iPhone so now I am doing most of my posting from it.

With Prayers & Positive Thoughts

One more simple card I made this week using a print from my Imagine as well as the darker pink/red color. Not much to say about this one, was just making a few simple cards in between some house work.

Birthday Card - Paisley Pattern

For this card I just used the Imagine for the Paisley patterned paper. It so happened I had the perfect shade of Peach in my PTI stash and then the tan paper on hand as well which went great with this. I love the soft muted colors of this particular print, and what I LOVE about my Imagine is that I cut a piece of this patterned paper only big enough for this one card...so no scraps sitting around at all. The other nice part is I can print this paper as much as I want forever. I love these colors together, a very simple card but catchy.

Two Twinkle Twinkle Baby Cards

Here are two totally adorable baby cards that I made using my new Formal Occasion cartridge. I have wanted this cartridge for MONTHS and held back on getting it. I love the little scenes in it and the carriage and such...but anyway, I was going to go purchase some Imagine Ink on sale for Black Friday when I realized that Cricut Rewards has each of them for 500 points, and I was lacking 70 points because I had used my large accumulation of points earlier in the spring so I ended up figuring it made more sense for me to go purchase this cartridge on sale for 24.99 and get the missing points, than to purchase the inks. So now I have the cart I have been wanting and I will use my points soon for free inks!!! Anyway back to my cards. I just took one of the little scenes and made it into a shape card. I embossed and used Perfect Pearls spray on the clouds. I outlined the moon with my Stardust pen and then did the stitch lines with it too. I did not care for the stars that cut with this, so I just punched my own out with two punches. I stuck a bow to a button to give it an added touch and added a little bling on my stars. Inside I wrote, "Congrats on Your New Addition". Love these cards.

Wishing You a Hoppy Day

Here is an adorable card that I made using my Imagine and my new Nursery Tails cartridge :). I love this cartridge, it is SO cute. I fell in love with this little Froggy right away and had to cut him first. I cut it in the layers and adhered everything, and I popped the frog up. I loved the print in his body so I pulled the same print out from the patterned paper and then the peach color from that. I actually made 4 of these cards, and it did not take long at all. The sentiment from Scrappy Moms was perfect for this little guy. I am sure I am going to use this frog many times in the future.

Gift Card Holders for Christmas

Here is a small sampling of the Gift Card Holders I have been making using Emma's die and a variety of stamps and papers. I made a bunch before my Craft Fairs earlier this month and every one of them sold, so I am making more for my final craft fair. these are so fun and easy to make and Emma's Die makes it so easy.

Halloween Hershey Bars

This was a special request order from a friend of mine who really loves Halloween. I had the best time decorating these Hershey Bars!!! The little ghosts, pumpkins and spiders were from K&Company. I love the black and purple ribbons that I got from M's.

Sympathy Cards

Here are two sympathy cards that I made earlier in the summer. I love these PTI shades of cardstock. Michael's doesn't have any colors like these. I love brown paper too, tend to use a ton of it. I embossed the design then inked right over it to give that brown pattern. Very simple and pretty. I used Nesties for the mats.

3 Lady Bug Cards

Here are three cute cards I made a couple months ago, every one of them is already gone, LOL. I got these cute Lady Bug stickers by EK Success for 1.00 at Wal-Mart and made 3 cards with them. This is the kind of thing I was doing earlier when I was still sore all the time from working out and didn't feel like messing around with my Cricut.

Still I think these cards are super cute and didn't take long at all to make them.

Stay tuned all week at 7 am EST, I have a post for you all :)

Decorated Candy Bar - Halloween

Here is my sample candy bar that I am thinking of making for coworkers this year for Halloween. I just used paper to cover a Hershey Bar. I would make all of them a little different with different printed papers and such but I think that this turned out to be such a cute little treat. I can't wait to have fun making more.

Just Because Card - Butterfly Embossing Blue and Purple

So here I am using the butterfly stamp to emboss again. I just love this pattern. For each of these I used a Pearlescent embossing powder so it shimmers in the light. I chose papers to match and coordinate. Then I took the punched butterflies and inked them with Versamark and then used the same embossing powder on them so they would match nicer and be speckled with the color. I love these cards.

Episode 28 - House and Tree

Hope you enjoy this video. I actually filmed it over the weekend but just got around to posting it. I wanted to show one of the more detailed cuts and how to put it together. And to show that you don't have to be intimidated by cuts that are in depth, so for this video we put the cuts together live and the card too. Enjoy!

Halloween Card - There's a Scare in the Air

Here is my first Mini Monsters card of the season :). I could not wait to get started on some Halloween cards this year. I had ordered the Scrappy Moms stamps a couple months ago and even though this set came out last year it is all new to me now. I used some googly eyes for my Monster. I cut the spider from Paper Doll Dress Up. I want to get the MS Spider Punch if it is out again this year though. I picked up the spiderweb ribbon at M's. I also got a great deal on Halloween, Fall and Christmas paper at Joann's with their 40 percent off sale and then the extra 20 percent off coupon I had! Can't beat it. Hope you enjoy.

Thank You Card - Tons of Thanks

This week when the cartridges were 29.99 at Joann's I decided to treat myself to the Every Day Pop Up Cards. I think there are so many adorable images in this cartridge and I have not been buying very many cartridges this year at all. I don't even know if I will play with the pop up feature, but the images alone are worth it. This cute elephant was one of them, and it is so cute. I thought it would go perfectly with this sentiment from Scrappy Moms. I used some shimmery silver paper for the main part of the elephant and then embossed it with the Mosaic embossing folder. I just love how he turned out. I also used a half off coupon at M's and got the We R Memory Keepers pink brad setter. I never had a paper piercer anyway and I was tired of being limited in how and where I could use my brads. It was only about 3.50 with my coupon. I bought a thick piece of fun foam and cut it in half and I am using that for the foamy mat. Now I can not only put my holes perfectly placed but they can also be anywhere I want. I love that. So I lined the scallops that were fully visible with light blue brads.

Just Because Card - Tone on Tone Butterfly Embossing

Here are two pretty cards that I made the same except for the sentiment. I picked up this butterfly border stamp at Joann's for half off. It is normally only 3.99 anyway so it was a great deal. When you use the Fiskars border stamps it is the perfect height to get two rows on the 4x5.25 size paper so it ends up looking like a solid pattern. So cool. I used Versamark and then just clear embossing powder to give a tone on tone pattern. I then did a simple layout with cream colored ribbon. I also did versmark on my punched butterfly and then used clear embossing powder over that too so that it would match the darker tone.

Very pretty and simple and now two more lovely cards. Hope you enjoy!

Just Because Card - I'll Be There For You

Here is another one that I made with the same papers as the other day, but a different embossing folder and design. I love this Scrappy Moms Sentiment, so sweet :)

Life is a Beach

Here is my Life is a Beach Project. I wanted to use this sentiment from Scrappy Moms and I thought it would look so cute for the two little turtles. I also ripped my waves and heat embossed them with white powder to make them look for real. I embossed the tree tops too. Hope you enjoy!

Just Because Card - Tree-Mendous!

I just love how this card turned out. I bought this Martha Stewart Paper Pack on clearance at M's and it has lots of wildlife and outdoorsy papers in it. This whole scene was actually printed at the bottom of one of the sheets of paper, and it is very glossy. Not sure if the pic shows the gloss well. Because of this I couldn't really add much to it since it was already so nice as it was. So I just did some layers and added some ribbon and sentiment across the top to help accent it. I actually really love this card. I will use this for the one male member of my weight loss group. I like to send out a few cards to members each week. Stay tuned in a couple days for the other card I made with this paper.

Birthday Card - Flower Ribbon

I found this pretty ribbon at M's for a dollar. I love to get their different printed ribbons after they put them into the dollar bin...you just cannot go wrong. I just selected some PTI papers that matched the colors in the ribbon and then made this simple card. The three little tiny flowers are just brads. The Lacy Scallop is from a Nestie and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms. I think this card turned out sort of Hippy and Cool. Bright and Fun. Love it.
