Birthday Card - Cupcake Ribbon

Oh my goodness I am loving this card. I bought this pretty cupcake ribbon a while ago from M's and I love it. I mean I usually use brown, pink and white on my cup cake cards as it is and this was just too pretty. 1 buck for a while roll. I decided to lay some out on a white mat and make my own pretty patterned paper from it. I did them this way rather than straight across like yesterdays card, and it gives it a nice extra touch. I really love how this looks against the white. Of course I used brown for my card case. I love what I did with the doodling this time. I used my white gel pen for the stitch lines and did them further apart and then put a dot between each with my pink gel pen. It gives it a totally different look and blends with the card colors. Once again I used a simple matting of layers and then my sentiment. This time I used a very tiny fiskars punch to make those layered daisies and then just added some pink bling. Very simple and very sweet. I really really love it very much. And this card only took about 15 minutes to make. You could easily get 1 roll of ribbon, a few matching papers and make a card set of 4 cards, just placing the ribbons a little differently and maybe using 4 different birthday sentiments and there you have a nice set to give someone as a gift, that takes very little time to make and really stands out.
