Birthday Card - Tulip Box

Wow, do I love how this card turned out. I made it at the crop the other weekend. I had been wanting to do this cut from Freshly Picked and had not gotten around to it. I love love love the two greens I paired together which are not your normal greens. I made the flower box with the craft card stock, then ran it through my Herringbone Embossing Folder and then inked it with brown ink. It really gives it a nice look and texture. The tulips I made with purple, my favorite color!. For the sky I took white textured card stock and just sponged it with Staz On Teal Blue, and I love the look it gave. The clouds are from Create a Critter and I outlined them with purple stitches. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms, I love that sentiment. I actually cut it in half so that I could place the two words like this, or you can have it stretched out. I normally don't like to cut my stamps, but with this stamp it was a good choice so I can use it both ways. The butterflies were a nice added touch. And I love the grass behind the flower box. Hope you enjoy this card.
