Flaunt it Fridays - Count Your Blessings
Welcome to another week of Flaunt it Fridays!!! This week the challenge is to use the sheep from Country Life. I was kind of excited about this one since I had never cut this one before :). I cut two layers of the base layer to make it a little thicker. Then I cut the white layer. I hid the eye cut out and the swirls in my Gypsy and then ran the layer through the cuttlebug. I love the effect. I just used a pearl for the eye. I wanted some country colors but something also a bit abstract, so I did red grass. I wanted to stick with the Tri Color look. I frosted the tips of the grass with some Versamark Frost and just used my heat gun to dry it. It gives the grass tips a bit more dimension. I made a cute tag for my sentiment, and added an eyelet to it. I used this sentiment from Scrappy Moms and embossed it with white embossing powder to get this crisp white look. I added some Scrappy Moms baker's twine around the neck of the sheep and tied my tag to that. I love how nice the twine matches this project. And I love that red polka dot paper. I hope you enjoy my super simple card today...now head on over to Flaunt it Fridays and participate with us. Just see my side bar design team button and click on it to be taken to their site.
Hope you enjoy!
