Sensational Scenes Blog Hop!!!

Welcome to the...

Sensational Scenes Blog Hop!!!

This is my very first time hosting a blog hop. I really love to use scenes in my projects and I thought it would be so fun to have an entire blog hop devoted to it!!!

I have asked 12 other bloggy friends to join me and I hope that you enjoyed all their blogs and projects along the way!

So you should be joining me from Lauren from Lauren's Creative. She is super talented and has such fun projects on her blog.

If you are stumbling across this blog for the first time, and want to join in the hop from the start then you can visit Momo at Made by Momo. She is an awesome crafter and has over 100 videos too!

So to finish out the hop here is my project.

I made a 12x12 Quilled Art work for my aunt. This is what she requested. I enjoy quilling sometimes, and it really makes beautiful framed art, but I also love to combine quilling with my cricut cuts. I bought some nice thick textured blue card stock from Michael's for the sky. For the grass I used my Martha Stewart Punch. I love that punch. And scene lover should get it. The tree was cut from Serenade at 8 inches. I cut it twice and then snipped off half the leaves and so you get the two toned look. All the clouds were from Create a Critter. I stitched them with a blue gelly roll pen. The tulips are quilled except for the straight stems that I cut as an 1/8 inch strip of paper. The sun was quilled and then I put the yellow gems all the way around. And then the butterflies which are from a Martha Stewart Punch too. I used the gems for the head and the middle section. I also propped up their wings, which in the frame you won't really see that at all! This will be framed in a 12x12 shadow box frame!!! Here are some close up views.

Now for the fun part!!! Two of the ladies in our blog hop have generously donated a set of their stamps for a give away for this hop!!!

They are Tammy and Mel from Scrappy Moms Stamps!!! Just click the link to their website and it shows all of the stamp sets that they have available for purchase! The winner will receive a stamp set of their choice. Isn't that totally awesome? I hope you all join me in thanking Tammy and Mel. Their stamps are the best and they stamp incredibly well and they are very creative.

In order to be eligible to win the stamp set you must visit each blogger along the way on this hop and leave them all a comment as well as leave a comment here on my post telling me what you enjoyed about this hop, and which stamp set you would choose from the Scrappy Moms and why!!! I will draw a winner at random on Tuesday. Be sure to leave me your email address too so I can reach you! You do not have to follow my blog, but of course I would be honored if you did!!!

I hope you all enjoyed the blog hop.

Here is the list in case you are just getting started.

Thx for putting blog hop together. I loved all the different sceneries that could be done with some of the cartridges I have and some that I hope to have one day.

I would the furry friends stamp set!
