This is my Design Team Project for Tracy at www.craftjunkietoo.com for this week! This time around we were asked to make Christmas Organization Tips! I was really stumped. I am not doing anything major this year for Christmas and the holidays do not stress me out and I just could not come up with anything. Finally I decided to make a notebook where I could keep track of the presents I buy people throughout the next year. I used kraft cardstock and covered them with Christmas Red and Green Patterned Papers and then the white. I binded it with ribbon but I must say, I don't really care for how this turned out. This was my first time making any type of book and I had no clue what I was doing, I was winging it. I can't say this is my favorite design team entry, but she really challenged me and this is one of the first things in a very long time that I made and don't really care for. I hope someone finds my idea useful though. I thought it might be handy to have a notebook especially for writing Christmas gifts in that you pick up through the year so you won't forget what you have. Hope you all enjoy.
I want this blog to INSPIRE your CREATIVE side as we EXPLORE our PASSION together!

Just Because Card - Basket of Flowers
I got this idea in my head about making a basket full of flowers. This basket didn't come with any layers so I had to cut it out twice and give it the pink layers by cutting those parts away from one cut. It works but it is nicer when the images already have layers. I thought the colors I chose of the flowers went nicely with the ribbon that is here on the side. The flowers are all made from punches I have and some are on pop dots to give it more dimension. I think the card turned out nicely...I just wish the pink ink had shown up better.

Diaper Bag Special Delivery Card
I love how this card turned out. I cannot take credit for the idea though because I got this idea from Sarah at Live Love and Scrap. She made an adorable card like this for a challenge Momo had going on a few weeks back. I just had to try my own version. I used this adorable printed paper and tied in a few of the colors to make my bag. I don't have Design Studio or a Gypsy so I had to weld my card by hand. That is what the pink thing is that you can see at the left edge. This card is so totally adorable and I am sure someone is going to love it as much as me. I love how there is a real pocket to slide things into. Hope you enjoy.
