I really enjoy making scene cards, and I decided to make a cute little scene using this tree from Serenade which I totally love. This was my first time cutting it this small. What I did was to cut two layers of the tree/leave layer and then I snipped off half the leaves alternating my way around the tree so that I could have the two toned leaves. Also the nice thing is it makes the tree a little more sturdy too. I used the same greens for my grass using my Martha Stewart grass punch. The cloud were cut from Create a Critter. The butterflies are just from a Martha Stewart punch. I added a stickles dot to the center of each butterfly. I think this scene is so pretty and colorful and the sentiment is great! Hope you enjoy.

I finally found it!!! Phew... I have been scouring my blog for an hour looking for this card that I found a month or more back. My grandma just passed away and I wanted to send something just like this to my Dad as I remembered how beautiful it was and the sentiment was perfect. Thank you!
