Sympathy Card - Lighthouse Beach Scene

Well, I was thinking that a card like this might be a nice Sympathy card, at least I think it would be, but everyone I have shown it to says it is too cheery. Too late now, I stamped directly onto the card. This time for the water I used my Fiskars Scallop Punch and then I also ran the strips through my crimper. It gives a totally different look to the paper tearing. I did tear the sand though. I am really liking this lighthouse but I have got to use my Gypsy to make a blackout of it for the white layer. I had to lay the black and red onto white paper and cut around it, LOL. The cart doesn't allow for a blackout layer or feature from what I can tell. Hope you enjoy.

I think this makes a great sympathy card. Take it from someone who has lost her in-laws over the last few years. This would make my heart happy to receive it.
