Birthday Card - Butterfly Birthday Wishes
Just a very simple card, no Cricut, but I did use my brand new Cuttlebug. It's kind of funny because I had the Big Shot from several years back, which worked just fine with the embossing folders, but I really think the Cuttlebug is way cuter and I really loved that it folds up and is much smaller and easier to take with you places, so I asked for it for Christmas and I got it. So to celebrate I got this Once Upon a Princess folder set, and I don't have that cartridge but I really love the patterns in the folders. I think this butterfly pattern is just the cutest. As my additional accent I used my Martha Stewart Punch and created this butterfly, but this time rather than pop the entire thing, I glued the center down flat and put pop dots only under the wings, and I rather like that look, it looks more in flight than the other way. So a very simple card but with my favorite color purple and some yellow you can't go wrong! The patterned paper is from the Sweet Stack. Hope you enjoy.

I am loving this card. Very cute and the color choices are wonderful. I really like the dark purple embossed butterflies. Wishing I had that Cuttlebug folder. I love my cuttle bug and would not want to be without it.
Love the way you used rhinestones for the butterfly flight trail =)
