So I was using up scraps from a composition book I made. I love this paper. I got it from Joann's a while back. I hadn't used the Dragon Fly from Create a Critter before so I decided to make one. I just love it. How totally cute she is. I can remember the night I was at the store after I first got my cricut hemming and hawing over what cartridge to get, and I finally decided on this one but I was skeptical. However, I love it. It might be my favorite. I love how each button comes with two animals and accessories besides. And the layers are so easy to do.
I tend to always cut a base layer or two then layer on top of that because I find I like my images to be thick and strong. I first made this with glitter all over the wings but I didn't end up liking it so I snipped the wings back off and made new ones. The body was still ok. I like them better with just the line of stickles on each one. The turquoise gems were a perfect accent for this dragon fly! I really love how this card turned out. Hope you enjoy!

Just stopping by to say hi. I am usually so much better about leaving comments, but I have been so busy getting ready for the blog hop. You sure have been busy, lots of great post. Love all your creations! I was wondering if you can tell me what the name of the little red adhesive runner is called that was your favorite before you got your ATG, I have yet to find a small one that I really like.
