One thing I wanted to get into with the Quilling is making pieces of art to hang on walls in frames. I started with this 8x8 scene because I know I can get an 8x8 shadow box picture frame very easily. I love the 3D aspect of this and the nice bright tulips. This was my first time making a sun and I think I did a GREAT job. I absolutely love the two tone small butterfly and my bumble bees. The layered grass with the white fence gives it some dimension too. I am very happy with this. It took me just about 4 hours to make from start to finish! I wonder if I am going to sell this or gift it!
