This was a simple card I made for a Happy Birthday. I love purple and yellow together. I wanted to use my Paisley Cuttlebug embossing folder but I decided to just emboss the top half of my photo mat so I could embellish the bottom half. I have the Paisley maker from Creative Memories. It does punch the paisley and the design on it, but it is a bit over priced. I bought it over a year ago and it was about 26 bucks with shipping. I also have their cute heart maker that is similar. I accented my paisley with little gemstones. I glued the purple paisley to yellow paper and cut around the edges to have it be yellow behind. The Happy Birthday came from a paper studio stamp set I got at Hobby Lobby. I think this card is cute and simple. I really love the embossing folder!
