Ever since I watched a video at Made by Momo where she made a card shaped in the form of a birdhouse, I have wanted to do this. I collect Birdhouses, my kitchen is full of them. I just love this. I don't have design studio which is how she told me she made it, but I was able to craft my way through. I actually made a white narrow paper and scored it in the middle and used it to attach one side of the roof so the front and back are connected and open that way. Then that paper is hidden under the pink roofing. Pretty clever! I used my Martha Stewart Glitter along the edge of the roof to tie in the light green and add some sparkle. My gemstones were so light green that they look more white in this picture. The printed paper came from Joann's. I just love light green and pink together. This time I had to make my bird quite small. Isn't she so cute? I just love her raised up on the card.
