So, last weekend I bought my very first Distress Ink, the Tim Holtz Wild Honey. I have never been very into Distressing, but after watching my friend Janice use her inks in so many ways I decided to take the plunge and give it a try. I also picked up the Victoria Cuttlebug folder while it was 40 percent off since I did not have that one. So I ran a cream paper through with it and then used the ink pad directly to ink over the embossed areas. It makes those areas darker and the rest lighter. It was such a rich golden color that I took some Colorbok gold paper to use with it. I kept the design very simple with the ovals and the sentiments are from dollar stamps from M's. I also added one gold leaf brad to each. Of course I tried to distress the edges too. What do you think?
