Easter Card - Flocked Chickie
This was my first time using flocking. I got the Martha Stewart Brand of this yellow with this chick from Simply Charmed in mind. How cool! I don't have a big enough Xyron for this, so I just used my Zig Two Way Glue Pen to add the glue and then poured a nice thick coat of flocking powder over it. How cool is this....it made it fuzzy like a peach. Almost feels like felt. I am amazed!!! I think I need white, black and brown now for more animals here and there. Maybe a pretty blue for some birds. For the purple mat I took a light purple paper, embossed it, the sponged some purple ink over it, to give it this look which I really like. Hope you enjoy...I think this is my last Easter card of the season!

Such a cute card. I love the purple and yellow together. I've never tried the flocking before but you've inspired me to give it a try.
