Flaunt it Fridays - Blog Hop!!!

Welcome to the Flaunt it Fridays Blog Hop!!!

You should have arrived from Corri....I bet you enjoyed her project.

For this blog hop we needed to use the Raggedy Ann/Andy cuts from Paper Doll Dress Up.

For my project I didn't really want to make the standard characters so I just chose certain parts of the clothing and made a little blondie. I must admit the entire thing was a challenge for me because this is so not my normal style, but that is the fun of trying something new. I added some buttons that were tied with new Baker's Twin from Scrappy Mom's. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's New stamp set..."Turn that Frown Upside Down". It's the only set of her stamps I have.

Then we were asked to make another project using any cut from the same cartridge.

I decided to make this tree and I wanted to make a tree with pink ribbons hanging from it. I have this ribbon punch and I love the way it turned out. I just added a strip of grass and then welded the Hope together from the Cursive Cartridge. I think this is an interesting take on a Breast Cancer card. Simple and different.

So...I hope you enjoyed my projects. Your next stop along the hop is Lisa....also don't forget you need to leave a comment on everyone's blog along the way and then end at Janis' blog for the chance to win the blog candy!!! The give away is for the Wide Eyed Kids Faces from Peachy Keen!!! How exciting is that???

Enjoy the hop everyone!

The little blondie is an adorable take on Raggedy Ann - sometimes you just have to change it up. And the Hope card is absolutely wonderful - you need to submit it to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, I'm sure they'll love it too. Bless you!
