Winter Card Set-4 Cards, Envelopes and Box!

I wanted to make a set of matching cards and gift box. I chose a winter theme and kept it fairly simple. I used the same Snowflakes Cuttlebug Embossing Folder for all the cards and then used the snowflake punch by Martha Stewart. On every snowflake I glittered the center. I wanted to make 4 different styles of cards but all matching. I think they turned out great. I even made matching envelopes with the light blue card stock using my Martha Stewart Score Board.

The box came from a video that Momo did. I only made it so that my score lines were at 3/4 of an inch rather than an inch, because homemade A2 envelopes are a tad bigger than the ones you can buy. I lined each envelope flap with double sided sticky tape that is ready to be peeled away. The box is wicked cute and I decorated that to match the cards.

This was the Joy Fold Card. My very first Joy Fold Card in fact! I love it.

The inside of the joy fold card looks pretty as well! The snowflake embossed paper made a nice touch for all the cards.

I've seen Momo do this style card before a couple of times. I don't have whatever cartridge she has which has the button for it, so I had to wing it. I just made my pocket and tag myself based on what hers looks like before she folds and adheres it. I think it looks great for me making the pattern myself. I think I will be experimenting with this again soon.

This is a spinner card and it was going perfectly except for the layer of glitter I added beneath the track made it just high enough to touch the spinner and so it mostly slides now. I won't be using glitter under the track anymore. LOL. I thought it would be really pretty to see the glitter there though as the snowflake spun back and forth. I used bingo chip things this time rather than coins. They are lighter, a tad bigger and much cleaner and it worked great until I added the glitter LOL. At least the snowflake slides with no problem!

For the last card I did a gate fold card. I just love the embossed papers so much. I wanted this front very simple and without the sentiment.

And gate cards are so nice because they are pretty inside and out. This time I wanted my sentiment on the inside!

I am really happy with this set, even though it took me way longer than it probably looks like LOL. I had fun making it. Oh and every sentiment was stamped in blue colorbox ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder using my heat gun. I just love how much more vibrant that makes my stamped words!
