This card turned out super cute. I had a comment from Lisa J on a similar card asking for the measurements...so....
You use a piece of paper that is 4.25 by 11 and you score it at 2.75 and 8.25. Super simple. For my layers I choose to go a quarter of an inch smaller but the same length as the card. It makes for a nice sturdy card too!
Anyway, I love this birdie paper that I have. I used the other part of this paper on a composition book and this was the scraps left from that project. I chose not to use a sentiment so that the card could be used for almost anything female related. I love the little birdie on the front. She is so pretty. I used the glossy accents on her beak, flower, wing and feet. It actually makes her little tiny feet stronger. I love the shiny aspect. The gems are just a little darker yellow than the paper. And her eye is a black pearl!
