Altered Composition Books
I decided I would try my hand at altering and decorating those ugly composition books. I did get this idea and instructions from a video at Made by Momo. I love her videos! I managed to grab these books from Wal-Mart for only 25 cents each!!! Wow!!! Anyway I used my pattern papers that are card stock thick and I love how pretty these turned out. On the first one I thought I would insert a matching solid into the inside front and back covers but it turns out it isn't worth it because it eats up so much ATG that I would be spending more than I could charge I think. I am making these to have on display at a craft fair I am doing in Novemeber. I can't wait. These are really simple and easy to do. I have 12 more to go....hope you enjoy!

Good luck at your craft fair. Love your comp. books. I'm making them too for a craft show this next week.

Christina - have you tried the Zip Dry glue? I use it when making smaller albums which include chip board and patterned paper - works like a champ and doesn't wrinkle the paper or warp the chip board. And, it shouldn't take as much as the ATG!

Jackie,
Where can I get the Zip Dry? I have been looking for it.
Thanks,
Christina

I found it at Michael's over in the glue section with the glue, gold/silver leaf, etc. (separate section from the scrapbooking stuff). Hope that helps.

Notebooks came out great!
These are so pretty, do you have to pay a fee to sell at a craft fair?? I am thinking of doing that. Good luck!
